Rob has been with Virginia Commerce Bank since the Bank’s mortgage department was first established in 1999, and he has been in the mortgage business for over 10 years. As one of the top producing mortgage lenders at the Bank, he brings unparalleled financial expertise to his role as a mortgage lender.
Rob earned his Certified Public Accountant certificate over 20 years ago and subsequently completed an MBA in Finance at George Washington University. After working for many years as a Corporate Controller in different industries, he opened his own accounting practice where he expanded his financial experience from large companies to small businesses. By having his own practice, Rob understands the complex situations of self-employed borrowers, small business owners and individuals.
Rob joined Virginia Commerce Bank in order to bring a higher level of financial expertise to mortgage lending, an industry in which that is not always the standard. Over the years Rob has been involved in a wide range of mortgage situations in the DC Metropolitan Area as well as providing solutions in other areas around the country, allowing him to capitalize on Virginia Commerce Bank’s ability to lend in almost any state.
“By structuring one or more loans to meet your specific needs and discussing all the complex financial issues that deserve consideration, I can help you analyze your particular financing situation in ways other lenders can’t match.”
Rob will work diligently to understand your individual situation, and will develop a customized solution to meet your needs. First time home buyers find him particularly patient in explaining how the home buying and mortgage process works in a user friendly way. Customers return to Rob time and again because of his expertise, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service.
